Of these, 16 operating and 15 under construction or proposed. Combined LNG capacity is about 243 Mtpa. The largest is Hazira LNG Terminal (19.92 Mtpa).

The largest owner-operators are Petronet LNG (7), Konkan LNG Ltd (4) and Gujarat State Petronet (3) — Petronet LNG alone is named on 16% of them. Half of India's LNG terminals in service predate 2019 (median commissioning year of the 10 with a known date), 6 came online in the past decade and the oldest still listed is Dahej LNG Terminal, dating from 2004. 15 are in the pipeline, led by Hazira LNG Terminal (19.92 Mtpa), proposed.
