The same report that mentions the existing capacity of 1.7 GW between Guandong and Hong-Kong also reports that "By 2025, Guangdong and Hong Kong will complete the 500 kV power transmission and transformation project, and complete the transformation and upgrading of 4 high-voltage lines and Shenzhen substation." However, no information can be found on potential increase in terms of capacity hence has not been added to planned capacities.
